About the Music Nest
Welcome to a fun filled musical experience designed especially for parents, carers and their pre-school children. Our classes bring little ones and their grown-ups together in a creative mix of singing familiar favourites and new songs, playing instruments, moving and listening, all brought together with live music.
Each session is filled with singing, dancing, listening, sensory exploration, and a chance to play simple percussion instruments. Classes encourage creativity, confidence and a love for music from an early age. Children will be learning the basic foundations of music through fun and engaging activities. Just as importantly, it's a special time for you to connect and have fun together.
We also include a relaxed social time within each class, giving both children and adults the chance to make new friends and enjoy a sense of community.

About our Classes
Babies
Our baby class is designed for little ones not yet walking, and encourages babies to express themselves through sound, play instruments, interact with their grown-ups, and experience the magic of live music. Classes include sensory play and a time of socialising for those young and not-so-young!
Toddlers
Designed for those on the move, our toddler classes are more active, including moving and dancing as well as playing instruments and singing. This class includes some social time and toys are provided for children. Children will quickly become familiar with the structure of the class and delight in taking part.
If you have more than one child you are welcome to bring younger children to this class, using our sibling discount.
Where to find us
Classes take place in St Peter's church hall. The hall is easily accessible and has a small car park as well as on road parking. There is space for pushchairs and car seats in the hall
